Post Christmas

First I would like to say Happy New Year and wish you all an amazing, full with joy and smiles, creativity and most of all health and luck 2013!
I have to admit that I do and I don’t like January.
I like it as it’s a new start and somehow it makes me think in a more positive way and look forward what the next day will bring me.
I don’t like it as I generally don’t like winter and being cold.
Even though every season bring something beautiful and magical, I still don't like the rain and snow that brings winter, short days and dark morning... especially when I have to go to work or do the school run in the morning- everything is frozen and slippery, or wet and cold.
Anyway, I try to look at it on the plus side, try to organize my days and make them more fun then usual. look forward the beautiful and full with hopes, “love is all around”- Spring.
I have been extremely busy these 2 months though and haven’t been able to post everything I was up to.
I have done lots and lots of Card making ( for Christmas and New Year, as well as for birthdays). Some sewing projects too ( unfortunately I don't have photo proofs of these activities).
I did bake and cook a lot in December.
I absolutely love Christmas and I do try the house to smell of home - baked and home -cooked food all the time.
We had lots and lots of fun with my little monkey and together we made cookies and cakes too.
I will not hide how tired I was, but the happiness and the joy of it all made my Christmas mood go sky high!
The whole family was looking forward to our trip to Switzerland and that made the month go even faster. ( I will tell you more about this trip soon in another post)

The only thing I don't like about Christmas is the shopping. Shopping for presents!
I always try very hard to find the stuff that will make every person happy and surprise him a lot and I am never too sure at the end.

This year, as the year before and the year before that, I made my own wrapping paper and  decoration. I have planed more handmade decoration though, but the time wasn't on my site! My husband says I try to do too many things in too little time...
I know he is right, but I like being busy...and then have al little windge that I am tired.Huh.
So here are some of the photos of my Christmas decorations, food and cards I made.
This is not all, but taking pictures wasn’t always easy with 3 year old running around and wanting to touch and try everything.
I got my new camera mid December, so this explains it too.

And here are some of the Cards I made

And some more baking
